This Australian-based CRM service was established in 2009 as an online customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Insightly is known for its easy-to-use interface, range of customization options, and easy integration with Google and Office 365.
Why Insightly CRM?
Much like many of the other tools I have tested here, Insightly has powerful CRM capabilities to provide comprehensive visibility into every stage of the customer’s journey so you can tailor experiences that drive retention and loyalty.
But what earns it a place on my list is its customization features so that your sales reps and admins can easily build personalized dashboards to track and manage their projects.
Insightly also integrates with many of the other apps you may already be using, such as Google Calendar, Slack, and QuickBooks.
The user experience and interface are pretty intuitive in my books, and as I mentioned, you can customize the dashboard to suit the specific needs of different team members.
I’m always pleased to see a free plan offered, and Insightly offers one (at least for now). It’s limited to two users and only has basic features, but it’s perfect for a startup or small business that needs basic CRM functionality while they grow.
Paid plans start at $29 for plus and $49 for professional both are reasonably competitive. However, I wasn’t so enamored with the Enterprise plan at $99, which I found lacking compared to competitors’ plans at this level, for instance, Zoho, whose Ultimate package is nearly half the price.
So to sum Insightly up, I’d say that it’s perfect for small businesses looking for an easy-to-learn and use CRM platform with some great customization features. The free and mid-level packages are well worth a look, but I wouldn’t recommend the Enterprise plan. But do be sure to check out their competitors, such as Zoho CRM and Salesforce, before making your decision.
